ONE Project Youth Council 2024
Meet members of our new Youth Council who will be working alongside the One Project Board!
Arjan Sidhu
Arjan is currently a high school sophomore and is working towards a Black Belt in Martial Arts. Arjan has dedicated many hours volunteering for community events and supporting a variety of organizations. He is very driven and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Arjan lives in Monroe and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling in his spare time.
Harleen Kaur
Harleen is a high school sophomore and is passionate about giving back to the community. She has been a volunteer for Let’s Share a Meal and as member of ONE Project Harleen's goal is to dedicate a portion of her time to make a difference in other’s lives. She plans to start hospital volunteering as well to help her community stay healthy and strong. Harleen lives in Jersey City with her family including an older sister and brother who are in college.
Juliana Scartocci
Juliana is a rising high school junior who has been deeply engaged in supporting the community including years of participation in the annual Hunger Project. She is involved in efforts to support a number of local charities with a focus on food insecurity, homelessness, and environmental conservation. Juliana is an avid writer, trombone player, and drum major for her high school marching band. Through her work with ONE Project, she hopes to inspire others to support their community while taking part in activities to benefit society at large. Juliana lives in Hamilton with her family.
Simran Singh
Simran is a rising sophomore, part of her high school basketball team and a member of Aatma Dance Academy. She has been a volunteer with Empower and Help teaching English speaking to Syrian refugees, led fundraising and social media efforts for Young Khalsa Girls, and as member of a national debate team held public speaking workshops for upper elementary students. As member of ONE Project she hopes to raise awareness on critical issues affecting the community and contribute to making change. Simran lives in Monroe Township.
